 To find roots of w is
w=roots(w);
r-roots(w);
which is one better and accurate way??

				How you can you find roots of a matrix? roots gives you the roots of a polynomial.

        Let A be your 10*5 matrix. Where the coefficients are in rows
[m,n] = size(A) ;
r = zeros(m,n-1) ;
for i = 1:m
r(i,:) = roots(A(i,:)) ;
end
