License checkout failed. License Manager Error -9 on Linux Manjaro (Arch based distro)

Hi, I installed Matlab correctly and it works but after reopening it I cannot start it up. its gives me this error:
$ sudo ./matlab
License checkout failed.
License Manager Error -9
Your username does not match the username in the license file.
To run on this computer, you must run the Activation client to reactivate your license.
Troubleshoot this issue by visiting:

Diagnostic Information:

Licensing error: -9,57.
So I ran sudo `./activate_matlab.sh` and succesfully activated it thru loggin online but even after that it still gives me this error when I try to open `Matlab`
