how can i convert a 3d figure to obj file formate ?

i have make a code and created a 3D figure.

i need to take its x, y and z coordinates

I cannot convert it to text file formate to perform my tasks.

i need to convert it to obj formate so that i can extract the xyz coodinates for some other tasks.

Can any help please.
