Problem:
>> help imshow
imshow not found.
%imshow does not appear to be present in my MATLAB program. It was recently installed, and the command has never worked. Is there any way to fix this?

Apparently you do not have the IPT installed. Did you purchase this toolbox with MATLAB? You might have to talk to the system administrator to find out what toolboxes were supposed to have been purchased and installed.

The thing is the other IPT commands appear to work. At least 'help imwrite' works.
I tried using the imwrite command so that I could just view the image as a jpg file (in replacement of imshow), but get this:
>> imwrite(image1w, 01-1fw, jpg) imwrite(image1w, 01-1fw, jpg) | Error: Unexpected MATLAB expression.
Don't know if that's me doing something wrong though (I'm new to MATLAB)
My professor who installed MATLAB for me tells me the IPT toolbox should have been installed. Nobody else who's using the same version installed from the same USB are having trouble. Should I have MATLAB reinstalled perhaps?

IMWRITE is not in the IPT. Try re-installing.
