imagesc vs heatmap: which one has more flexibility?

I am currently using heatmap but I found it does not have enough functionality like I can not change the colorbor size and style or the flexibility to show the vale of each grid on the chart or not.

Any idea? I am also open to new suggestions other than heatmap or imagesc.

I would suggest you to go through HeatmapChart Properties which would help you get more flexibility ro change colorbar size, style and other parameters.
