Changing limits of a figure color bar using the property inspector does not change the figure colors correspondingly.

I am running Matlab 2020a on OS 10.15.3.

My issue is that when I modify the limits of a figure color bar using the property inspector, the colors in the figure itself do not change correspondingly (while the color bar lmits do change).

According to my understanding you are trying to change the color of the plot.

This can be done by using property inspector-> color and transperancy maps-> color map
