Create a 32bit compatible standalone App with MATLAB R2019b

3 views (last 30 days)
I have 64bit MATLAB R2019b on Windows 10 and I created a standalone App which runs without problems once Runtime 9.7 is installed. However, users having 32bit Operating Systems are not able to use it. How can I modify or create an App with MATLAB compiler which is compatible with 32bit users?

I suspect this might only be possible if you use R2015b or older, for which there is a 32 bit option.
Another suboptimal option would be to make sure your code runs in GNU Octave. It will probably run much slower and with fewer graphical options, but at least they still provide 32 bit versions. People with 32 bit computers are probably getting used to bad UI or slow code.

This is directly ony possible with R2015a or older, the last release to support 32 bit.
You may consider using web apps which doesn't require anything to be installed on a client machine. https://www.mathworks.com/help/compiler/web-apps.html
