I have downloaded all the driver which requires for this camera. i managed to save my device under "Imaging Devices" in my comp. However, it did not appear under the "Hardware Browser" after several times clicking on "Refresh Image Acquisition Hardware".

What kind of camera is it? What operating system are you using? Are you using the 32 bit MATLAB or the 64 bit MATLAB? Is the driver built for 32 bit use or 64 bit use?
Have you tried exiting MATLAB? Have you rebooted since you installed the driver?

It appears that uc 1451 is from http://www.vineon.net in their USB 2.0 uPIX camera line. It is WSXGA not just SXGA. It is a black and white (not color) model.
Unfortunately I have not been able to locate any manual or software for it, other than the sales literature. I do see that the site indicates that an SDK is available, but there is no link to either the software or documentation about the software.

Time to start a MATLAB Technical Assistance case. There isn't anything we can do out here without access to the device documentation, the software, or the device itself.

Are you using Windows? Does it show up in Device Manager? If it doesn't show up there, MATLAB won't see it because Windows doesn't even see it.
