how to change matlab settings to display image properly to have clear view?

I am reading image from matlab by imread. But after imshow, it is getting blurred not same as windows image viewer. So i can't work on it. Whether it is necessary to change some display setting?

Is imshow() warning that it had to display at a fraction of the original size?

What is the size of the image? What is the size of the axes you are giving to render it in?

I suspect that the blurring is in the display (not enough space to display it all) and not in what was read in by imread(). Have you tried the zoom tool ?

Thanks. yes it is giving warning to display at a fraction of original size. But size is 128*128 only.
