parallelization in image processing for denoising an image

Hii, I simply want to learn parallelization in matlab. For that I am doing denosing an image in image processing. I used median filtering to reduce salt and pepper noise. But actually I dont know hoe to do it using parallelization. Please help me.

Beyond that, you can also split an image into blocks and do median filtering on the blocks in parallel. However you would need to do fix-ups at the boundaries. If you are thinking of this approach it is probably easier to use blkproc() with overlap and request parallel execution.
