How to implement Interleaved Polling Adaptive Cycle Time (IPACT) algorithm for TDM-PON?

5 views (last 30 days)
I want to implement Interleaved Polling Adaptive Cycle Time (IPACT) algorithm for time-division multiplexed passive optical network (TDM-PON) with discrete event driven simulation in MATLAB. The background traffic from each of the optical network units (ONUs) can be considered as Poisson distributed. A simple code to validate the baseline performance of IPACT should be good enough for me. Can anyone please help me with the code or point me to some relevant links with already implemented code? The following book can be considered as a reference:
G. Kramer, Ethernet Passive Optical Networks. New York, NY, USA: McGraw-Hill, 2005.
Thanks.

As I could not find any answers or user-friendly solutions, I attempted to write the code by myself. It is probably not a very expert-level code, but does the job for academic investigations.
Please help yourself those who are also looking for help like me.
