selecting images from numerous subject subfolders

Files for each subject are stored within individual subfolders (e.g. each subject has their own subfolder) and which also contain other subfolders. How can I extract the files of interest from each subject and store them in one directory? Also I'm only using a subset of subjects whose ID's are stored in a cell array.

For making a copy of the files to another directory, you can use ‘copyfile’ function.

Usage:

copyfile source destination
