collapsing redundant entries in MATLAB table

I have the following MATLAB table

item_a item_b score
a      b      1
a      b      1
b      c      3
d      e      2
d      e      1
d      e      0

I want average the redundant rows. The result should be as follows:

item_a item_b score
a      b      (1+1)/2
b      c      3
d      e      (2+1+0)/3

I could not find a way to do it. Could you please help?
