How to go about derivating a discrete sine signal as shown in the figure 1?
When I'm using the Derivative block in simulink the output obtained has a high gain(as shown in figure 2). What is the workaround?

Hello Nikhil,
The "Sine" wave that you are sending to the derivative might be of from 
whose derivative will be 
.Hence try to scale it down by 
as shown below
