how to assign data to axis vol3d

I am plotting year(per,day,hour) using this line:

vol3d('cdata',interp3(year,3),'texture','3d');

can you show me how to assign values of my variables(per,day,hour) to the axis x,y,z?

vol3d('cdata',interp3(year,3),'xdata',per,'ydata',day,'zdata',hour,'texture','3d');
