Morningstar Direct and MATLAB

Hi there curious if anyone has experience importing/accessing Morningstar Direct data via MATLAB? I'm aware MATLAB has integrations with some financial data providers but Morningstar Direct is not one of those so I was curious whether anyone in the community had identified any creative ways to connect the two applications. I've tried to connect the two via Morningstar Direct's Excel add-in but so far without success.
