mov2avi skewed output

When I try and open an avi created with mov2avi the video is skewed and striated.

I've seen this topic brought up once before with no helpful answer.

I'm on 64 bit OSX. R2010b.

Quicktime wont open the file.

VLC shows the skewed version.

any guesses? (tried getting mgpwrite working but no such luck!)

I have the same issue and no helpful answer or but just using the current figure instead of the current axes as a parameter of the getframe function.

I just posted a bug at mathworks support.
