Currently running a Matlab License Manager on Windows Server 2012 R2, will I need to migrate my license manager to Windows Server 2016 to support R2019a or greater versions?

Will my 2012 R2 Matlab license manager service licenses to R2019a or greater versions or will I need to migrate my license manager to Windows Server 2016? I received an email from MathWorks stating that Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are dropped platforms with no support starting with R2019a. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi Wallace,
Unfortunately Windows Server 2012 R2 is not supported as of MATLAB R2019a. You might need to use Windows Server 2016 to work withMATLAB R2019a or later versions.
