How to get rc.txt into sdcard

4 views (last 30 days)
Hi , everyone I am having trouble putting the rc.txt file into the sdcard. Currently i have installed the Latest Pixhawk PSP(v3.0.4) in windows 10 bash environment.
The documentation says that we have to put rc.txt file in sdcard's /etc folder , but when i opened the sdcard on the pc I was unable to locate the folder.
Does anyone know how to fix it? Or do we have to manually create an /etc folder and paste rc.txt in that ?
Thankyou

Hi Tejas,
If the /etc folder is not present in the SD card, you can manually create the fodler and paste the rc.txt. You can refer this link for more information. However, the link corresponds to the documentation of the official support package 'Embedded Coder Support Package for PX4 Autopilots, and not the Pixhawk PSP (Pilot Support Package).
If you have access to R2018b/R2019a, I would suggest you to install the official support package 'Embedded Coder Support Package for PX4 Autopilots'.
Refer the documentation on getting started with the official support package.

Hi Tejas,
The Embedded Coder Support Package for PX4 Autopilots works only from R2018b onwards. For earlier releases please use the Pixhawk PSP (Pilot Support Package).
Refer this link https://in.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/px4/setup-and-configuration.html only if you want to install the Embedded Ccoder support for PX4 Autopilots. Once you install the support packae, the Hardware setup screens will guide you through the setup process.

Hi ~Abhishek ,
I am using Pixhawk 4 (fmu_v5) and have established the toolchain with WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux ) . I have made matlab model and successully build it but i am unable to upload the same via "PSP Upload Code" tab.
Its says Waiting for the bootloader . If you upload does not happen please unplug and replug the usb after 1-2 secs.
I tried to replug the usb but nothing happens .
Can you a solution for this ?
