You can use “fitgmdist” function in MATLAB to represent your extracted features using GMM.
Here is a working example of the same.
% Normalize the feature data
features = zscore(features);
% Define a small regularization value (optional)
regValue = 0.01;
% You can set options for the fitting process
options = statset('MaxIter', 1000, 'Display', 'final');
% Then, fit the Gaussian Mixture Model
gmm = fitgmdist(features, n_components, ...
'RegularizationValue', regValue, ...
'CovarianceType', 'diagonal', ...
'Start', 'plus', ...
'Options', options);
% Display the GMM parameters
disp(gmm);
For more details about “fitgmdist” you can use the MATLAB command
doc fitgmdist
I hope this helps!
