shall I standardize the input variables in fuzzy inference system?

the range of my data are so different, for example one is between 1-100 and the other one is between 500-14000;can I use them in membership function with out normalized them?

Hi Nooshin,

You can use inputs with different ranges. You can make use of the Membership Function Editor to specify the ranges of the inputs. For more information, kindly check an example regarding the usage of Membership Function Editor here.
