I am working in matlab with the image processing toolbox. I need to fit a data, and since I do not have the curve fitting toolbox, I will use Mathematica for this task. However I do not know how the two softwares communicate. In other words how Mathematica receives the raw data from MATLAB and how does it send the fitted curve to MATLAB
Assistance will be appreciated.
Thanks

Said, you have access to a LOT OF Curve Fitting Toolbox licenses at your university. Just in case you like to stay within MATLAB...
