xlswrite() misfunction with Office

hello.

i am trying to write using xlswrite().

a new company Office version has been insatlled: 1811 (Build 1109.20079).

the function fails and I repeatedly get a comment that the file is already opened by another program.

any help will be greatly appreciated!

close the file which is open maybe with the same name and try again ..

indeed this was my first assumption but it's not that.

i understand that an auto-backup s/w has also been installed and IT is the culprit.. when i disable it, xlswrite works - some Office service issue..

Hi,

Restart your PC and then change the directory of your file. Load the file now and check it.
