Issue with App created with appdesigner in Matlab 2017b while using it in Matlab 2015

Hi,

I have created one app using appdesigner in Matlab2017b. I am trying to use that app in Matalb 2015b. However I am getting error as,

"Error : Unexpected MATLAB operator" for the line "UIFigure matlab.ui.Figure"

So is it not possible to use app developed in new version(2017) of matlab in earlier version(2015) ?

No, it is not possible. App Designer and associated components (uifigures) were introduced in 2016a and so that is the earliest version apps from the app designer (may) work in. See also: https://uk.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/359337-app-designer-retro-compatibility-2017b-vs-2015b
