Hello Sir, I would want to analyze signature based on various features. For this, I need to obtain different features. One would be obtaining the row & highest black pixels & column with highest black pixels. Could you please tell me how can I use histogram to do this? I have binary image of signature.

The histogram does not relate with spatial (Position) coordinates.
Second Part:
obtaining the row & highest black pixels & column with highest black pixels. You can proceed the following way
rows_num(i)=sum(k2(i,:));
% find the minimummvalue of rows_num, decided the i(row number)

x is the image array...
[rmax,rloc]=max(sum(x));
[cmax,cloc]=max(sum(x,2));
