How to vary the color according to the data ?

Hello, I'm trying to create a kind of diagram with a single horizontal stick. in this one, I would like that the color varies according to the intensity. in fact, I have a two-column table with time and intensity and I would like to draw my intensity (represented by a color gradient, the higher the intensity is stronger the more it is red for example) as a function of time .
