How I can plot a 2D in Matlab?

Hi,
I have x(i,j),y(i,j) and Z(x,y). How can I plot my z points based on x and y?
Let me explain a little: I am doing a 2D modeling and I have flux at each point (x,y). I am confused how can I plot this?
