I found an error in the "strain.exy" function from PDE toolbox, can someone confirm?

I have been using Matlab to model the behaviour of a concrete structure using the PDE Toolbox (structuralModel, etc.), and I have noticed that there is an error in the way Matlab calculates the shear strain (2017b version). The full explanation is available in this short PDF :
