i have applied huffman coding and decoding from matlab/simulink for digital communication by won y yang

i have applied huffman on images everything is working fine am getting the coded_sequence ,decoded_sequence,decoded image but the compresses image size am getting same as the original

can any one help

Usually compression doesn't work well for data which has uniform distribution. Almost all natural images follow this trait. You can try different compression algorithms and different images to test this. The compressed data would either be more than the input or almost the same size. The only thing you can do is try to modify the existing compression algorithms to suit your purpose.
