How do you get variables to open in Editor?

I accidentally did something stupid, and now when I double click on a variable to see its contents, it opens in a new window instead of opening a variable tab within the editor. How do I revert this back to normal?

On the upper right-hand side of the Variables editor (on Windows), click the small arrow and click: Dock Variables. Or Ctrl+Maj+D.

Tip: on English keyboard the shortcut is ctrl+shift+D
