Calculate area of each Bounding Box

i already have a binary image with bounding box marked. in this image number of BB are there.. i want to filter out BB those are having small and large area. plz suggest me the code.. how can i calculate BB area and compare with some threshold value for filtering. and then i want to keep those BB only which are satisfy the condition

BB = vertcat(compBinaryFeat.BoundingBox);

BBarea = BB(:,3).*BB(:,4);

compBinaryFeat being the variable used to denote Regionprops()
