As by using thresholding image is dividded into object and backgroung

As per bimodal histogram threshold is clearly differentiate between object and background.

For example i want to separate cameraman and background,is it possible.

I received about Thresholding code from image analyst,i executed,it display only cameraman and histogram ,where the image is divided.

respected image analyst, as by using threshold value to differentiate object and background, i received thresholding tuturial from image analyst,by using that code i execute it,here output is cameraman, and histogram. whether it possible to divide cameraman image into foreground(cameraman) and background,is it possible,how to implement as code
