Copy the modified featues into th original image

Hi,I have an image size 512*512, in my work idid these steps: 1) detect surf features 2) extract surf features 3) Changing the LSB(Least significant bit) of some features My problem is how to copy back these modified features into the original image? Thanks in advance.
