On GUIDE, controls moving disjoint on figure resize

What is needed to require that various controls in a figure stay, to some degree, in place relative to the figure. Some of mine move a lot more than others, but it appears that there is a grouping (like a graphics scenegraph) at play, where some controls are in different branches and thus connected to different placement parameters. Self Answer -- set UNITS in property inspector to NORMALIZED for controls that should not move when panel/figure is resized.
