You can try this:

   plot(app.UIAxes,[1 2 3 4],[3 5 2 6],'-r');
   hold(app.UIAxes);
   plot(app.UIAxes,[1 2 3 4],[4 6 3 7],'--b');

This does not answer the question asked. The example plot you show has only one y axis.
