Even though I have installed all the 3 support packages When I am trying to upload the simulink model I receive this message:
External mode simulation is not supported for the 'Arduino Uno' hardware. However, you can deploy the model on this hardware. From the model window, click the "Deploy to Hardware" button. Component: Simulink | Category: Model error
when also trying to deploy it as recommended above I receive this message: Your current working folder is: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Production Server\R2015a\bin Simulink does not permit you to modify the MATLAB installation area. Please change to a working folder that is not in the MATLAB installation area and re-try the previous command. Component: Simulink | Category: Model error
what is the problem and how can it be solved ?

Based on this page https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/arduino-simulink.html, it looks like external mode is supported with Arduino Uno after the R2016b release. You might want to try with the latest release or another board of Arduino.

cd to a directory you can write into and then Deploy to Hardware.

According to Madhu's information above, NO, the Uno was not supported for that purpose until a later release.
