Gettinga plot for daily Max values in a dataset for 8 months

I want to get a plot for daily maximum of the values. The data is for 8 months. I want the script to pause and take input from the user after every single plot. I am constantly struggling with my for loop for that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are many ways to do this, below is one example using inputdlg to get a user response

for i =1:8
figure% create new figure
plot(rand(1,10))%create plot for random data
resp=inputdlg('Enter Input:','input title',1,'default'); % see doc on inputdlg
% do something here with user input resp
end
