How to get the HOG descriptor visualization as an image?

I need the visualizations of the HOG descriptor as an image that i can extract regions for my further analysis.

Hello @Brinda N,

You can use the "extractHOGFeatures" function to compute the HoG features and obtain the visualization data.

img = imread('cameraman.tif');
[featureVector,hogVisualization] = extractHOGFeatures(img);

The "extractHOGFeatures" returns HOG feature visualization, using any of the preceding syntaxes. You can display this visualization using

plot(hogVisualization)

You can save this into a suitable image format.
