Bias and variance in the convolutional neural network

How do I get the bias and variance error in the convolutional neural network from this example https://it.mathworks.com/help/nnet/examples/create-simple-deep-learning-network-for-classification.html? To make the convolutional neural network , I used this tool https://it.mathworks.com/help/nnet/convolutional-neural-networks.html

Hi Gregor,
You can use the in-built functions 'mean' and 'var' to get the bias error and variance error using the error matrix from your trained model. You can refer to the following accepted MATLAB Answer for detailed use of these functions: https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/108205-bias-and-variance-of-trained-neural-network
To know more about the 'mean' and 'var' functions kindly refer the below documentations:
Hope this helps!
