Connection Raspberry Pi 3B to computer via Wifi

Heeelo Everyone!
Could you tell me please or give me some advises about how to control GPIO in Raspberry Pi by Matlab via Wifi?
I can do this very easy by ethernet cable in Matlab command window. But I would like to do this by Wifi. Is it possible? How to set connection betwenn my Rpi and my computer?
