Why can't MATLAB R2017A recognize my installed adaptor when typing imaqhwinfo

I am trying to connect my Genie Nano (a GigE camera) to MATLAB (R2017A trial) using the Image Acquisition Toolbox. I installed the "Image Acquisition Toolbox Support Package for GigE Vision Hardware" and I can see that it's installed when I go under Home > Environments > Add-ons. However, when I type imaqhwinfo, I get the following:

        InstalledAdaptors: {}
        MATLABVersion: '9.2 (R2017a)'
          ToolboxName: 'Image Acquisition Toolbox'
       ToolboxVersion: '5.2 (R2017a)'

Why are the adaptors not being recognized?

You might need to also do it from imaqtool's menu: "Tools->Register a third party adapter" from imaqtool's pulldown menu.

I have the same problem in R2017a for genicam gentl package. Also attached imaqsupport.txt on a separate thread below:
