Can not open my .mlapp file
Show older comments
I created an app that executes well, and now I can not "Open" the file in appdesigner to edit it. I can execute it from the command window and it runs. Is my file corrupt? How can I fix it? When I select Open and click the file - nothing happens. I am using Matlab 2016b - and I can not upgrade to 2017.

Are you facing this issue while opening the mlapp file on R2017a, and the file was created using R2016b?

Can you open other mlapp files, i.e. is it broken for all of them or some of them?

I have the same problem here. I tried it on two different Computers, both with R2016b. Other .mlapp files do open immediately in app designer.

suppose your file's name is: app.mlapp
try this in command:
appdesigner app
It should work :)
