How do I convert an RGB image into an IR image?

Can someone tell how to convert a rgb image to an infrared image in matlab??

RGB images capture information within the visible spectrum, to capture infrared images (outside visual spectrum) you would need a special camera to start with.

In short, you cannot convert an RGB image into an IR image.
