Intallation stuck at 99%

Hi, I have been having headaches with this one. I tried installing MATLAB, and everything seems to go fine, until it reaches 99%, where the installation program starts "Performing post-installation tasks. This may take a few moments..." . At this point, the installation just hangs there. I've waited for hours, and its still the same. Does anyone have any clue on how can I get over this problem?? I really badly need MATLAB for my studies!!!!!

Hello,

I have had the same problem. My fix involved using activation key instead of license issued by my university. Additionally, (which also may have been part of the fix) I unchecked creating desktop icon and real-time protection through windows security.

It now works for me- good luck.
