I am using quiver3, arrow heads orientation
Show older comments
I am using quiver3, arrow heads are orientated so when I see the velocity field from above (seeing from above toward x-y plane) I can see the arrow head clearly. However, when I try to see the velocity field looking from a side toward the plane x-z I CANNOT see the arrow head of the velocity field. could you help me on this problem? thanks

I also have this problem some years later... can anyone help?
I don't know of a good way to do this using the available properties.
A person could always manipulate the underlying linestrip objects, but that's probably at least as difficult as doing it from scratch.
I could be mistaken though.
There may also be a few things on the FEX that might suffice, though I haven't tried any. For example:

I'm not aware of an easy solution to this problem with quiver3, but you may want to look at coneplot, which draws 3D cones instead of arrows. Those may render better in your situation.
