Is the Simulink MSK MOdulator baseband block doing differential encoding?

The Simulink MSK Modulator Baseband block appears to be doing differential decoding of the input data. I would have thought it would not do differential decoding. There is no parameter to control the encoding. The MSK modulator MATLAB function, mskmod, does have a parameter to control differential decoding. So does the Simulink MSK modulator block only do differential encoding?

The MSK Baseband Modulator block performs differential encoding, similar to the 'diff' encoding option of mskmod function. Similarly, the MSK Baseband Demodulator block performs the differential decoding. The MSK Baseband Modulator/Demodulator blocks do not provide an option to perform 'nondiff' equivalent of mskmod/mskdemod functions.
