Detection of Falling Edge does not produce a rectangular pulse

I am using the edge detector in simulink which is returning a triangular pulse. The block description says it returns true or false so to me there should be no sloped edges on this value. Anyone know why this may be happening? I am working in discrete time.

can you, instead of explaining what you have in the Simulink model, and what happens, and what should do, but it doesn't, just make the Simulink file available to us, the readers, so we can somehow try to help with some kind of confidence that we are not just guessing?

If you have three point, false, true, false. Then you will get a triangle
