Detecting rectangle using Hough Transform in real road images

Hi!

I wanna detect road sign based on shape detection

so what I need to do first is detecting rectangle.

I extracted line segments from original image using Hough Transform, and I attached example.

As u can see, every single line(different color) contains 4 values, which means 2 points.

My problem is the lines are incomplete to be rectangle, cuz it's not connected.

Anyone has ideas to solve it???
