Run 2013a Simulink model in 2014a

If I pass along a model generated in an older version of Simulink (2013a) with some comipled/encrypted subsystems using Simulink Coder, can someone with a newer version (2014a) be able to open and run it without issues?

I know in the past I have been unable to run some models compiled in older versions, but I'm thinking this may have been improved in these newer versions.
