Symbolic math toolbox problem R2016a on MacOSX

I encounter problems with MacOSX 10.11.4 and Mupad (R2016a, R2015b): All menu items do not work; if selected, nothing happens. Menu short cuts work. Strange: In Mupad (R2015a) all menus work as expected. Any suggestions how to resolve this issue?
